Life is pretty easy for most large servers. Oftentimes, they live out their days enjoying the benefits of air conditioned, humidity controlled, and dust and particulate filtered offices. But, what about the servers needed in outdoor environments, not to mention environments like war zones and disaster areas?
That was exactly the problem Microsoft was looking to solve when they came to us.
For Microsoft’s equipment, we needed to create a rackmount case that served as a compact, mobile safety zone for servers in tough environments. Working together and using a rugged Pelican-Hardigg outer case, we made it happen. The result was a tamper proof, shock-resistant rackmount server case with custom cooling fans and ports for power and data connections.
And Microsoft is still using them today!
