A medical device manufacturer approached Custom Case Group to design a reusable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to cardboard to ship devices to their customers and for demonstration purposes.
Our packaging specialists selected Coroplast, a lightweight, corrugated, copolymer plastic known for its durability and reusability, for the optimal solution.
The final design served a dual purpose. When flattened, the Coroplast cases could be shipped in quantities of 10 to the manufacturer, which equaled the footprint of one assembled case, greatly minimizing shipping costs and simplifying storage. These easy-to-assemble cases provide a safe and sustainable solution for shipping devices back to the manufacturer for upgrades or maintenance.
